Dr. Steve Kaplan, Founder/President of Asian Festival and Winnie Kho Kaplan Honorary of Consul of Malaysia in Arizona established a strong network, engaging and building relationships with the communities, businesses and governments locally and internationally. We organized Asian Festival 2022 partnering with the City of Mesa and Metro Valley to unveil the Asian District
Signage and Culture Night 2023 promoting Asian District. The Guest of Honor, foreign dignitaries from Sarawak, Malaysia, the Deputy Minister of Tourism, Creative Industry & Performing Arts, and delegates attended the Asian Festival 2024. It was a great success and attracted about thousands attendees in our 4 consecutive years of Festivals. The Asian Festival create a substantial economic boom, generating increased consumer spending, promoting tourism, and supporting various industries and governments. Festivals bring happiness to a lot of faces. From years we can notice that the economy starts to prosper during the festive season. Festivals offer a platform for small businesses and
local vendors to thrive. Festivals are not just joyful occasions; they are powerful engines of economic prosperity and catalysts for sustainable development.

Welcome to the 2027 Asian Festival!

We are excited to present our fourth annual event, which will take place at Mesa Community College on Saturday, January 30, from 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM and Sunday, January 31 from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. This year’s festival promises to be an unforgettable celebration of Asian culture, featuring a dynamic and diverse array of performances, activities, and experiences for the whole family.

We’re expecting thousands attendees to join us for this special two-day event. Festival-goers will enjoy vibrant cultural performances, mouthwatering food from over 40 vendors, and an exciting marketplace with more than 100 vendors offering unique handcrafted items, artwork, and traditional apparel.

The 2027 Asian Festival is a celebration of unity, diversity, and cultural exchange, providing opportunities to experience the richness of Asian traditions, food, music, and art. With free admission and free parking, the festival is open to everyone in the community.
